Capricorn New Moon
Jan 08, 2024We welcome the year's first New Moon at 20 degrees of Capricorn. This moon is helping to guide us in what's most important to us as we begin 2024. The energy is high achieving and is the perfect time to set ambitious intentions. At the beginning of January, we had some planetary energy that kept us in pause mode to still muddle through some reflections and visions. Now with the blessing of this new moon, we can start accelerating our goals and visions. Capricorn is a sign of dedication and resilience. It amplifies our yearning for structure, stability, and success. Capricorn is wonderful at setting goals and achieving them. We can think of this New Moon as the real initiation of the new year. It brings an energy of renewal and revival. It urges us to cultivate a profound sense of responsibility towards our goals, recognizing that the journey to the mountaintop is paved with determination, perseverance, and a steadfast commitment to excellence.
This new moon is forming an exact square with the lunar nodes (karma and density) empowering us to align with our soul's true purpose and manifest the life we desire. We are finding ways to remain in our strength and integrity as we release the last remnants of our former selves, and outmoded cycles, transcending the limitations of our comfort zones, confronting the shadows of our past, and embracing the transformative powers of change. This moon is also in flow with Uranus Rx in Taurus, supporting us to break out of any outgrown patterns and awakening to the limitless possibilities that await. The moon is in a wide orb with the essence of Pluto at 29 degrees inviting a closure, a death. We can look back respecting the past and the transformations we have moved through, acknowledging all its wisdom as we know it's a time for rebirth, to move into the future.
The energy is asking to focus on individuation, allowing self-acceptance in following your true calling and purpose in this lifetime. Saturn is the ruler of this new moon which is currently in the sign of Pisces encouraging us to confront the self-doubt, fear, and insecurities that block the mastery of what we are called to do or aspire to be. Another supportive aspect, is the moon in sextile with Neptune in Pisces, inviting us to infuse our goals and intentions with divine inspiration, along with opportunities for profound spiritual growth, healing, and the integration of intuition with grounded wisdom. Oh, and I have to mention other beautiful aspects that are the backdrop with this New Moon, one is between Mars in Capricorn and Jupiter in Taurus, really helping to start our desires and passion in a big way and for taking root, something that's is solid and grounding that will last long term. Another is Mercury our messenger in Sagittarius conjunct the Galtic Center, aligning us with the cosmic mind, and divine intelligence bringing in strong downloads.
This moon energy "is out with the old and in with the new" it serves as a powerful portal for manifestation. It amplifies our capacity to transform intentions into tangible realities. Use this energy to set clear, achievable goals, and to lay solid foundations for the future. Work with the strength and power of dedication, persistence, and unwavering belief in your ability to manifest your dreams into existence.
